Thousands of Dignitaries were graciously in attendance to pay last respect to the late Madam Christie Oluwakamikun Adebamiwa nee Olamiti a sister to a veteran journalist Folu Olamiti who slept in the lord on 18th October 2024 .
The glorious last respect and service was Graced by eminent personalities among which are; former special adviser on media and publicity to the former president Mohammad Buhari, Hon. Femi Adesina, Prof Dapo Asaju, members of Nigeria guild of editors, to mention but few.
,The final funeral rite for the deceased which was held St anne’s church molete on Friday 17th of January 2024, kick started with service of song after the deceased body has been received at the entrance
In his sermon The lord Bishop of Ibadan Diocese, The most rev. J. O Akinfenwa describe the late Mrs OluwaKamikun, as a woman who lived a life worthy of emulation and impact
He implored the children of the deceased to copy and follow the legacy of their late mother so as to have an happy ending.
The interment was followed at the church Ijokodo cemetery.
While speaking to the reporters Dr Folu Olamiti described his late sister as a saviour who cares for his children and always want the best for her siblings, he recalled vividly Mama Adebamiwa ‘s caring gesture and dedication to the service of God in which they find solace on God for the life well spent by his sister,
The last born of the deceased, Abidemi Adebamiwa expressed shock upon hearing the death of his mum, he disclosed that he never believe his mum is gone and still hoping to see her one day
The reception and entertainment of guest were held at a Comfort Akinfenwa’ hall , Molete, Ibadan.
