The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State, Atayese Benedict Olugboyega Alabi (BOA), has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic passing of Hon. Raif Adekunle Adeniji, PhD, the Director of Administration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat.

In a statement released to the press, Alabi described the late Adeniji as a dedicated public servant and a pillar of support within the APC. He noted that Adeniji, who hailed from Ife Central Local Government Area of Osun State, had an illustrious career in public service, including his role as an Assistant Registrar at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

The late Adeniji also served as Chairman of Ife Local Government Council under the platform of the APC, where he made significant contributions to local governance and party development. Alabi praised his administrative acumen and unwavering commitment to party ideals.

Describing him as a grassroots politician and tireless mobilizer, Alabi acknowledged Adeniji’s instrumental role in the success of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and later the APC, both at the state and national levels. His efforts, he said, greatly shaped the political landscape of Osun State.

Alabi extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the people of Ife, and the APC community, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss and grants the departed eternal rest.
