The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja today paid condolence visits to the families of two prominent Ibadan elder statesmen, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo and Alhaji Yekinni Ayoade Adeojo to commiserate with their families over the death of the duo which occurred recently in Ibadan.
During the visits, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja emphasized that the vacuum created by the death of these two prominent and illustrious sons of Ibadan will be difficult to fill considering their capacities, intellect and wise counsel.
According to Arapaja, while His Excellency, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo was an intellectual force whose contributions to academia, public policy and governance were unmatched, Chief Yekinni Adeojo on the other hand, was a politician with pedigree of loyalty, consistency and passion the growth and welfare of humanity and development of the society.
Arapaja commiserated with their immediate families, Oyo State government and the entire people of the state, prayed to God to grant them eternal rest and their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.
Ambassador Arapaja was accompanied on the visits by his wife, Mrs Abiodun Arapaja, Hon. Akeem Ige, Hon. Modiu Opeyemi Akande, Hon. Akinpelu Afeez, Engr. Sulaiman Adesina, Hon. Moruff Hammed and his Principal Secretary, Hon. Damola Adegbite respectively.
