A member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Oyo, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has described the sudden death of the eldest child of late Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, Abisola Kola-Daisi who died at the age of 44 in the United Kingdom (UK) has devastating, shocking and heartbreaking.
Hon. Akinmoyede made this assertion in a condolence statement he personally issued and made available to newsmen this afternoon.
Hon. Lafi described Abisola’s death as painful not only to her immediate family but to Oyo State as a whole.
The lawmaker specifically extended his heartfelt condolences to her bereaved husband, Mr Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi, mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, and the entire Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families.
According to Hon. Lafi, “Abisola’s sudden death is indeed heartbreaking and left us in deep sorrow. This is indeed too difficult to accept. However, we cannot query the Almighty who is the giver and taker of life as He Will. I pray that God consoles her mother, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, her husband, children, siblings and the loved ones whom she left behind at this difficult moment and grants her eternal rest.”
The Lawmaker who urged friends and associates to the bereaved families and the people of Oyo State to stand in solidarity with them, offering prayers and support as they navigate this moment of sorrow, prayed that God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
