The Chairman of Oyo Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has been appointed as the Grand Patron of a charity foundation, Egbe Gbobaniyi Olubadan of Ibadan.

His appointment was conveyed to him in a letter delivered to him in his office on Thursday by the President and some members of the foundation.

In the letter signed by the President, Alhaja Rukayat Atoke Lawal, the foundation said that Hon. Ige’s nomination was based on his track record of dedication to public service.

According to the letter, ” our charity foundation picked you as its Patron because of your impressive background from serving as the Chairman of Ibadan South East Local government to being a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, and now as the Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board.

Your leadership and commitment are truly inspiring, as the Special Adviser Culture and Tourism to the Governor, you made significant contributions to prioritizing Oyo State’s rich heritage. Your current role as the Chairman of the LGSPB has also earned you recognition for your exceptional service.

As Patron of our foundation we believe your experience and expertise will be invaluable in guiding our mission to make a positive impact in the community. Your involvement will undoubtedly enhance our efforts to promote, support and services to those in need.” The appointment letter stated.
