Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has felicitated with the Etsu Tsaragi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Kpotwa, on the celebration of his 34th coronation anniversary, describing his reign as a symbol of unity, peace and development.
In a statement released on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, the Speaker commended the monarch for fostering harmony among the Nupe people and neighbouring communities since ascending the throne as the 16th Etsu Tsaragi.
“I am pleased to join the good people of Tsaragi to congratulate His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Kpotwa on this remarkable milestone of 34 years on the throne of his forebears,” the Speaker stated. “His reign has brought lasting peace, progress and unity to the land, and that legacy deserves to be celebrated.”
Danladi-Salihu noted that the Etsu’s leadership has not only preserved cultural heritage but has also positively shaped the lives of the people within and beyond Tsaragi.
“As we celebrate Your Royal Highness’ many achievements and the positive transformation witnessed under your reign, we pray that Almighty Allah will continue to strengthen and guide you to record even more success,” he added.
On behalf of the Tenth Legislature, the Speaker wished the Etsu continued wisdom, sound health and happiness in the years ahead.
