Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community, urging Kwarans to uphold the spirit of Ramadan by supporting the less privileged and fostering unity.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor expressed gratitude to Allah for the successful completion of Ramadan and enjoined Muslims to sustain the virtues of piety, generosity, and self-discipline.
“As we conclude the sacred month of Ramadan, I encourage us all to continue in our acts of worship, charity to the needy, and conduct that upholds our faith and humanity,” AbdulRazaq stated.
He emphasized the importance of moderation and kindness, particularly as Muslims gather for Eid prayers and celebrations. “Let us use this occasion to strengthen our bonds, extend gifts to one another—especially the vulnerable—and work towards a community that reflects the values of compassion and harmony.”
The Governor also prayed for divine blessings upon the state and the nation, wishing all Muslims the grace to witness many more Ramadan seasons in good health and prosperity.
