Hon. Olalekan Sanni, Chairman APC diaspora, USA has commiserated with Federal government of Nigeria, Oyo State government, Ibadan residents and in particular the Bodija residence who directly affected with the explosive disaster that ravaged the entire Adeyi close, old Bodija community on Tuesday night.
Olalekan Sanni in a press statement released on Thursday, via his media office, expressed great sympathy to the Landlords, business outfits and the entire residents of the area over the explosion that rocked the area including adjourned neighborhoods who suffered psychological and emotional effects as a results of the incident.
“I am highly disturbed with the tragic news that overwhelmed the entire city, even across the land to this place in USA, and I want to use this medium, With heavy heart to commiserate with entire residents and Oyo state government over the gory incident that claimed souls, livelihood, and properties.
Sanni in the message, commended President Tinubu and Oyo State governor Engr Seyi Makinde for prompt rescue interventions, relief gesture through deployment of NEMA, SEMA, and other rescue agencies to the scene for assistance, support, welfare and to take care of the victims.
He however implored the State government to deepened investigation to unraveled those behind the catastrophe
” I want to urge the government of Oyo state, the governor and his team to deepening the investigation to unravel the real causes and those responsible for it,
“It is highly worrisome, because for explosives to blast at Bodija community and the sound waves, radiation, energy and shaking effect felt in many kilometres away from the scene, as far kilometers distance to Apata, Omi Adio, Akobo, Agbowo, Ologuneru, Yemetu, Elebu Oluyole and other areas away from Bodija axis called for concern” he said.
Sanni, an indigene of Ibadan, from Ibadan North local government area, where the unfortunate disaster occurred, extend heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, residents, the President, Governor and Government of Oyo State who have been affected by this terrible tragedy.
“With deepest sympathy, I pray God Almighty to grant the injured grace and strength for quick recovery and also offer prayers for the repose of those lives lost in the incident.
May God in His mercy comfort the grieving, and strengthened the family of the affected, the people and government of Oyo State to recover from the disheartening tragedy.”
