One of the foremost female support groups for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Better Life for Women Initiative has lamented the sudden death of the daughter of former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi (nee Ajimobi) saying the news of her departure is too much to bear.
This statement was contained in a condolence message issued by the Founder and National President of the group, Hon. Mrs Feyisayo Oladiipo and made available to journalists.
According to the statement, “the sad news of the death of our dearest sister and daughter of our mentor, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Bisola Kola-Daisi came to us as a rude shock, devastating, pathetic and too difficult to bear.
This is indeed a tragedy considering the simple life style, humility honesty, and large heart that the deceased had while alive. We have indeed lost a gem.
We hereby condole with our mum, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, her bereaved husband, Mr. Kolapo Daisi, her siblings and other members of both Ajimobi and Daisi families and by extension the entire APC family in Oyo State on this heartbreaking incident of the untimely passing of our precious and beloved sister Abisola Kola-Daisi (nee Ajimobi).
Our prayers are that God comforts and consoles us all, grants us the innermost strength to bear this irreplaceable loss and be with the family at this grieving period and thereafter.
May Abisola’s precious soul rest in the bossom of her Creator, peacefully and eternally. We also pray that God Almighty will put a stop to this kind of calamity in our midst. Amen.” The statement prayed.
