Oyo AMDON Elects New Executives

The Oyo State Chapter of the Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria (AMDON) has elected new executive members to lead its affairs.

The peaceful election, supervised by officials from the association’s national headquarters in Abuja, was held at the Dapo Aderogba Hall, NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, under tight security.

Kolawole Olurinde popularly known as A-Plus Motors emerged as the new Chairman with 100 votes. Other elected officials include Adeniran Abdulrosheed (Vice Chairman I), Prince Oyedele Adebayo (Vice Chairman II), Oduola Kolawole (Secretary), Adegboyega Adekunle (Assistant Secretary), Alhaji Ahmed Akero (Financial Secretary), Olagoke Akinsoju (Task Force Commandant), Lawal Mojeed (Task Force Marshal), Rahman Ismail (Social Secretary), Azeez Wahab (Treasurer), Falola Ayoola (PRO), Olabiyi Rasheed (Chief Whip), and Ganiyu Sakiru Alao (Auditor).

Mr. Ojebunmi Dele Ajibona, the presiding electoral officer, presented certificates of return to the new executives.

In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Kolawole Olurinde promised an inclusive administration for the benefit of all members. The outgoing caretaker chairman, Alhaji Alobalowo Ahmed, commended the peaceful conduct of the election and urged members to support the new leadership.
