Peter Obi of , Labour presidential candidate in 2023 election has back the planned protest, called on protesters to be peaceful and shun violence.

Meanwhile, Chief Mrs Folashade TINUBU Ojo, daughter of president TINUBU and Iyaloja General of Lagos, appealed to Iyalojas to shun the planned hunger protest and as well curb their children not to participate in the protest.
